Rovinj is a vibrant seaside resort with lots of events, small and large, happening throughout the Summer season.
It creates a very happy atmosphere and, of course means our guests can choose how they spend their time during their vacation.
As Apartment Iris is very close to the centre of town, it means you can take part in many of these celebrations, just a short distance from your apartment!

Weekend Bike and Gourmet Tour: spring

The recreational cycling experience Weekend Bike & Gourmet Tour, that takes place in spring and autumn, offers additional gourmet pleasure. A two-day long ride with Istrian delicacies, olive oil and wine is divided into two itineraries: on the Mare trail you can enjoy seaside delicacies, while the Monti trail offers its participants the gastronomic delicacies of the Istrian interior.

The most exciting active weekend in Rovinj awaits you at the end of April, just the right time for a spring awakening. A number of sporting activities for all ages will be organised by the Town of Rovinj and its Sporting Community and Tourist Board from Friday, 24th April until Sunday, 26th April, with the weekend ending with magical Rovinj’s half marathon.

Also this year, Rovinj joined the world dance scene in the celebration of the World Dance Day. It is expected more than 450 dancers more ages from the youngest to the oldest.
Rovinj Photodays 2020
Date: 08.05. - 10.05.
Rovinj Photodays is one of the biggest photography festivals in south-eastern Europe. The final part of the festival takes place in Rovinj, and it is preceded by different activities such as yearly contests, travelling exhibitions and similar events. A series of workshops, lectures, portfolio reviews, exhibitions and other events take place during the Rovinj festival.

Summer Sensual Days serve as an introduction into the ensuing salsa festival. The event includes workshops on sensual Latino dances of varying levels of difficulty such as the bachata, kizomba, zouka and many other dances.

16th Croatian Summer Salsa Festival

This international salsa festival is considered the crown of the development of the salsa scene in Croatia, which attracts several thousand dancers from around the world each year. As part of the Croatian Summer Salsa Festival, dance workshops are organised by the very best international dance instructors. The event also includes numerous parties, boat trips and similar activities.
